This week we are going to talk about setting small achievable goals. It''s always best if you don''t set your goals too high because if you don''t achieve them, you are more apt to get discouraged and become less motivated.
The first goal you should set for yourself is snacking. We all need to cut back on snacking and this is probably one of the hardest things to do. We all get in a hurry in our busy day to day lives and grab a snack when we are hungry. One thing that I do is buy low fat, low calorie snacks and keep them on hand for whenever I get hungry between meals. This has helped tremendously.
The second goal should be exercise. Make a daily exercise routine that fits into your daily schedule. Weight loss doctors say that generally you should do a work-out for 20 minutes, so you should set aside at least 30 minutes in your day dedicated to your exercise program. Now your exercise program can be simple or it can be more intense. If you are just starting out, you should begin with more simple and easy exercises and work your way up, each day doing more intense exercises and do the exercises that targets the areas that you are most concerned about.
